Hey everyone, it’s Mark Haber. In THIS post, I will review with you what I feel are the ten best dual fuel generators on the market today. There are many advantages that go along with owning a dual fuel generator. Here are a few.
Propane costs less than Gasolene.
Propane engines are usually easier to start than gasoline.
In the middle of a storm, you may not be able to get gasoline and if you have a propane BBQ you can use the propane from the tanks to power your unit.
These recommendations are based on hands-on testing that I’ve done on most of these units. My goal is for you to make the best decision possible and get the most watts for your hard-earned dollar!
I hope you find this information helpful in your search for a generator; as always, please feel free to ask if you have any questions. I’ll be happy to help.
# 1 Champion Power Equipment 76533 4750/3800-Watt Dual Fuel RV Ready Portable Generator with Electric Start
This is one of my favorite generators. It’s rated at 3800 Watts. It will run on gasoline or propane. It has enough power to run your essential home items during a power outage. It ships with .6 quarts of oil and has a low oil sensor that will shut the engine off if it senses that the oil levels are too low to safely run.
It has an electric start which allows you to start the 224cc engine with the flip of a switch. The electric start battery is included.
One of my favorite things about this is that it has an intellagauage that allows you to monitor voltage, hertz, and runtime. This allows you to ensure that your unit produces good clean power and lets you know when you are due for maintenance.
Has a three-year limited warranty.
Has the following outlets.
- One 120 Volt 30 Amp RV Outlet (TT-30R) with enough power to start and run a 15,000 BTU Air Conditioner.
